Grandpa saying 'what?' too often? Pensioners free hearing tests and services.

Did you know that pensioners and veterans may be eligible for free hearing services and hearing aids under the Australian Government’s Office of Hearing Services (OHS) program? Find out more here.

The relationship between grandparents and grandchildren is very precious, but if things have changed lately could it be because of hearing loss?

Hearing decreases with age and sometimes it’s so gradual that it’s not noticeable at first. One sign of hearing loss is asking people to repeat what they said, another is withdrawing from the conversation.  People who cannot follow and participate in a conversation often withdraw and this can lead to other health issues like depression.

If you suspect hearing loss, it is time to have a hearing test.  Melbourne Audiology Centre is an accredited provider of hearing services under the OHS program.   Please contact MAC for information and to book your hearing test or call us now to speak with us directly - 1300 761 021.
